Como ex Republicano y ex Demócrata, Richard B. Boddie es muy reconocido por su activismo político a lo largo de los años, habiendo sido el presidente de la Student Bar Association mientras cursaba leyes, un activista anti guerra, y organizador comunitario en los 60s; Pre-Candidato a Presidente en  1991 y 1992. Richard fue candidato para el Senado de los EE.UU. en 1992 y 1994 por California, y para el Congreso de los EE.UU. por el 46º Distrito de California en el 2000, y sirvió como presidente del Partido Libertario del Condado de Orange de 1996 a 1998.

Dick Boddie es un graduado de la Universidad Bucknell de Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, y tiene un título en leyes de la Universidad de Syracuse. Ahora vive en Huntington Beach, California, habiendo vivido en el O.C. (Condado de Orange) desde 1977, está  casado (con su actual esposa, Ann) desde 1963 y tiene tres hijas, dos yernos, y por el momento cinco nietos y contando…

As both a former Democrat and former Republican, Richard B. Boddie is quite well known for his political activism over the years, havingbeen the president of the Student Bar Association while in law school, an anti war activist, and community organizer in the 60s;  he  also sought the Libertarian Party Presidential candidacy in 1991 for the 1992 U.S. Presidential race.  Richard did run for the U.S. Senate in 1992 and 1994 in California, and for Congress in the 46th District of CA in 2000, and served as Chair the Orange County Libertarian Party 1996 -1998, and was also the Press Secretary for the Steve Kubby for Governor campaign in California  in 1998.

Dick Boddie is a graduate of Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, and holds a law degree from Syracuse University (also in «upstate» NY, where it gets VERY cold each winter, a major reason why he lives in Orange County CALIFORNIA today ). He now lives in Huntington Beach, California having lived in The O.C. (Orange County) since 1977, has been married (to the same wife, Ann) since 1963 and has three grown daughters, two sons in law, and so far five grandsons and counting.
